JANUARY
Bag Packing to Raise Funds for New Matts and safety Equipment for our Junior classes. If all Students and Parents, would like to help, please do. On Sunday 13th 2008 from 9:30am to 4pm at Morrison SuperMarket in Jarrow, Thank You.
FEBRUARY
Chinese New Year started on the 7th and the festival starts Sunday 10th China Town, Newcastle. 12pm, a good day out for the family, you have a Market on, Lion Dance with fireworks, Martial Art Demo's, Live Chinese Music on a stage, Food & drink and much much more.
MARCH
Festival Training starts Wednesday 5th. Training weekend 15th & 16th W.T.C Students Only Thank you.
Wednesday 12th at St Matthews Parish Centre, Training night is cancelled only for that night. club night as normal on Wednesday 19th sorry for the
inconvenience. We are trying to locate another hall for this date. I'll will keep you posted on new hall thank you.
APRIL
The Spirit Wing Chun Gwoon are very glad to be hosting a one day Sijo James DeMille seminar. This will be the first time Sijo James DeMille has held a UK seminar for many years, so we are very honoured that he has chosen our school, mainly because of Chief Instructor Sifu Seyfi's close relationship with him.
The seminar is scheduled for Sunday, April 6th 2008, and is on schedule. Tickets will be £65 per person, and must be paid in advance. This will be an open door seminar, applications are available NOW on Spirit Wing Chun website, ensure a place, please go to;

OCTOBER
A understanding of the internal training of Chi Gung, the hard side of Gung Fu. Wednesday 1st at St Matthews Parish Centre, York Aveune, Jarrow.
November
Students who have the passion for grappling, you will be learning techniques of various chin-na (Chinese Grappling) as well as understanding break falls and tumbles.( Fear is good, but you need to understand Chi Flow, to control your Fear)
December
Understanding kicking techniques to achieve this you need to be flexible.To gain your goal please go and see (Sijo). The Chinese way is: if you don't ask, you won't get.
The last training session's for Christmas at St Peters Church Hall is on the Monday 15th and St Matthews Parish Centre is the 17th.
Re-open January 2009 Monday 12th at St Peters Church Hall and Wednesday 14th at St Matthews Parish Centre.
